![]() Take a lift down to the basement (you can also reach this by falling into a pit in the mansion proper) - down here you'll find a Merry-Go Round. There's a smaller building near the mansion. Easy! Big Boo's Haunt Star 2: Ride Big Boo's Merry-Go-Round You'll need to fight Big Boo, and then a star will appear on the second floor, complete with some handy stairs to reach it. When you defeat all five, Big Boo will spawn in the lobby of the mansion. Every time you defeat a Boo, you'll her a voice telling you ghost don't die, but keep at it. Your mission is simple - you need to go through all of the rooms of the haunted mansion and defeat all the Boos. Defeat that Boo then approach the bird cage to be transported to Big Boo's Haunt, aka level five.īig Boo's Haunt Star 1: Go on a Ghost HuntĮnter the main house. One of the Boos will have a bird cage inside it. You defeat them by getting behind them and punching them. As well as the infamous L is Real plaque, you'll find boos here. To access this course, you don't just jump through a painting: you'll need to go through the first set of wooden doors in the castle lobby, then follow the Boo through to a courtyard. Beating Wendy will finally grant access to the fearsome Valley of Bowser.Course five in Super Mario 64 adds another classic Mario trope to the game - a great big ghost house in the finest Super Mario World tradition. The trick is to forget about coins, and just try to get through the level as fast as possible. If you work very, very hard and collect all the possible coins, you will be rewarded with¿ the same path opening as the standard gate. ![]() Of course, with a cape it should be easy to fly up to the platform without the ghosts.Ĭhocolate Island 2 can be very, very confusing. When the block ghosts are in the right position, look at them to freeze them so that you can jump on them and then up to the platform with the door. A couple of screen lengths over to the right will be a door up on a platform too high to jump to. Go slow and let these ghosts follow you after you go past them. On the second segment, you will run over some Ghosts that when you look at them, turn into square gray blocks. Chocolate Island 1 has only a gate, but if you can¿t figure out how to get across the last chasm, try going down the gray pipe at the end of the level.įinally, a Ghost House with only one possible gate! However Choco-Ghost House can be hard to figure out. Apparently, Yoshi isn¿t the only Dinosaur in town.
